The bigger idea
Unlock the place.
Open the table.
CanTeam’s distinctive capability is helping communities activate existing places—not owning more buildings.
Better school food—and a bolder opportunity.
We welcome the government’s proposed update to the School Food Standards. Healthier, more appealing and inclusive food throughout the school day matters.
But schools also have kitchens, dining rooms, catering teams and trusted relationships at the heart of their neighbourhoods. What if more opened after school so children, families and neighbours could share good food—with young people helping shape and host the experience?

Discover ↗An emerging Future Foundations model
CanTeam can anchor a Future Hub.
A Future Hub is a wider place-based partnership that activates existing community infrastructure. It could be hosted in a school, hospitality venue, community centre, faith building, library or another accessible place.
CanTeam might provide a regular rhythm of shared meals and youth leadership alongside other locally shaped opportunities. It is a hypothesis to test with communities—not a fixed building blueprint.
